Community Guidelines

These rules keep Pickies safe and useful. Violations may lead to content removal or account suspension.

1) Keep it lawful

• No illegal content or activity.
• Avatars and uploads must be non-infringing and comply with law.

2) Respect others

• No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, or bullying.
• No pornographic, extremely violent, or otherwise obscene imagery.

3) Platform integrity

• No malware, phishing, spam, or automated abuse.
• No scraping or brute-force attempts.
• GIFs and stickers in chat are sourced from a third-party search provider — use them respectfully, and don't abuse chat mentions (@user, @everyone) to spam or harass.

4) No gambling or money movement on-platform

• Pickies is for entertainment and external record-keeping only.
• Do not use Pickies to organize unlawful gambling, wagering, or betting activity.
• Do not post payment links, collect money, or run money collections on-platform.
• Do not claim Pickies will hold, enforce, collect, transfer, or pay funds.
• Pool admins may set private group rules, but those rules cannot override Pickies policies or applicable law.

5) Moderation

• Pool admins may set additional rules for their groups.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
• Repeat infringement may lead to termination.

Cookie Policy

Pickies mostly does notuse traditional HTTP cookies. Instead, we use your browser's local and session storage, plus server-stored data tied to your account, as described below.

What We Store, and Where

• Local storage (strictly necessary): your signed-in session token, so you stay logged in between visits.
• Session storage (strictly necessary): a short-lived marker used once per browser session to avoid double-counting a visit.
• Push subscriptions (functional, server-side): if you enable push notifications, your browser's subscription is stored on our servers, not as a cookie. See the Privacy Policy's Push Notifications section.
• No third-party analytics or advertising cookies: we don't run ad trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Any usage counters we keep are first-party and stored server-side against your account.

Your Controls

• You can clear local/session storage via your browser settings (this will sign you out).
• You can disable push notifications in-app or via your browser/device permissions.
• We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) / Universal Opt-Out signals where required by law.

No Advertising Cookies

We do not use third-party ad cookies or trackers for behavioral advertising.

Copyright Policy

Pickies respects the intellectual property of others. We respond to clear notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).

Submit a Takedown Notice

Your notice must include:

1. Your contact information.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed infringed.
3. Identification of the material on Pickies to be removed (URL or description).
4. A good-faith statement that use is not authorized.
5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notice

If your material was removed in error, send us a counter-notice with:

1. Your contact info.
2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe removal was a mistake.
4. Your consent to jurisdiction of the courts located in the jurisdiction where we are based (or your local courts if required by law).
5. Your signature.

Repeat Infringers

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
